Assign and Run the Client Task to Deploy the Agent
The Trellix Agent must be installed on your endpoints prior to installing Privilege Management for Mac .

- Navigate to the System Tree > Systems tab and select the endpoint or group containing your endpoints. You may need to drill down to the location using the tree on the left.
- Click Actions on the bottom of the screen and select Agent > Run Client Task Now .

- Leave the Product as Trellix Agent .
- Select Product Deployment from the Task Type .
- Select your Privilege Management for Mac client from the Task Name list. This is the name of the client task that you created to deploy Privilege Management for Mac .
- Your list of endpoints is shown in the bottom panel. Click Run Task Now .
- The Running Client Task Status page appears. The Status bar may not show completed until the client computer has been restarted.
Once you have deployed the Privilege Management for Mac package, the endpoints automatically send a manifest of product information to the ePO server. This information is stored as a property of the client computer in the System Tree on the Products tab.

To assign a client task based on tag, that is not done via a server task. You can assign a task via the server task, but it is not a tag-based one. You would create a client task assignment in the system tree at my organization and choose the option to only send task if they have the specified tag.
Log in to ePolicy Orchestrator and navigate to Menu > Client Tasks > Client Task Catalog. Select Trellix Agent > Product Deployment from the left pane and click New Task on the top-left of the page. Select Product Deployment from the Task Types dropdown menu and click OK. Enter the following options: Click Save to finish creating the client task.
A client task must be enabled and assigned to your managed systems to be available to be used in the ePO environment. Some commonly used client tasks for Trellix Agent include: Trellix Agent Statistics: Collects network bandwidth saved by the RelayServer, Peer to Peer, and SuperAgent hierarchical features
Click Actions, New Client Task Assignment and open the Client Task Assignment Builder page. Select Solidcore x.x.x, SC: Enable, and then click Create New Task to open the Client Task Catalog page. Specify the task name and add any descriptive information. Select the platform and subplatform. Select Change Control, Application Control, or both.
Check the package into the Master Repository in ePO. Upgrade TA using a product deployment task: Log on to the ePO console. Click Menu, System, System Tree. Click the Assigned Client Tasks tab, click the Actions drop-down list, and then select New Client Task Assignment. The Client Task Assignment Builder wizard opens to the Description page.

On the Client Task Assignment Builder page: Select the task, then click Next. Schedule the task to run immediately, click Next to view a summary of the task, then click Save. In the System Tree, select the systems or groups where you assigned the task, then click Wake Up Agents. Select Force complete policy and task update, then click OK.

To create and apply tags in ePO: Create a tag using the Tag Builder: Click Menu, Systems, Tag Catalog, New Tag. On the New Tag pane, enter a name. To open the Properties Catalog pane, click + in the Criteria row, or click Add below the Criteria row. Click anywhere in the property row that you want to include.
